Read-a-Thon April 2019
Our first every Read-a-thon begins April 9th! Read-A-Thon is a wonderful 3 week event that combines reading and fundraising. The purpose of the Read-A-Thon is to encourage students to develop good reading habits, and to help raise money for John McLoughlin Elementary Classrooms. Students collect pledges for the minutes they read and prizes are awarded for various milestones. All the money earned from our Read-A-Thon will go directly in to each classroom. Funds are used toward field trips, special art projects, classroom technology, classroom books, and much more!
Class Top Minutes Read and Class Top Earner prizes include an extra P.E. time with Mr. Z and Extra Recess
Individual Top Earner and Top Reader prizes include Gift Certificates for Scholastic Books.
