February Trex Plastic recycling updates

For February, we had a total of 122 pounds of plastic brought to school. Just six weeks until the deadline for this year's challenge. So far we have a total of 1,303 pounds of plastic that has been recycled. 1,500 pounds of plastic sounds like a great goal to aim for. Keep up the good work of bringing in clean, dry stretchy plastic to try to reach a total of 1,500 pounds by April 15th. The Green Team thanks you and our planet thanks you too!

February 17: Well done - 40 pounds of clean, dry stretchy plastic were brought to school this week! If you drop off bubble wrap, it's helpful if the bubbles are popped so those donations don't take up as much space. Have fun having your kids pop those bubbles! (Or...bring them in unpopped and we'll still take them!) The Green Team thanks you and our planet thanks you too!

February 9: 21 pounds of clean, dry stretchy plastic were brought in this week.  Keep up the great work!  The Green Team thanks you, and our planet thanks you too!

February started off with 31 pounds of very clean, dry, stretchy plastic donated. Great job! Keep up the good work!   The Green Team thanks you, and our planet thanks you too!
