For nearly three decades, this joyful event has brought our community together to honor first responders and collect NEW teddy bears and stuffed animals for children facing difficult moments.

Happy Decision Day to the Class of 2026! Where is your deposit landing?
It’s April 30, 2026, and for high school seniors across the country, the wait is officially over. Today marks the final countdown to National Decision Day (traditionally May 1st), the deadline by which most students must commit to their future paths.
The Class of 2026 is trading high school colors for college hoodies, military uniforms, and trade school gear. This year’s cycle has been defined by record-breaking numbers and a shifting landscape in how students get "the big envelope."
Decision Day isn't just for four-year degrees. High schools nationwide are hosting "All Paths Matter" celebrations:

At 6:30 a.m., cadets at Oregon City High School’s Army Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps are already hard at work.
In the school gym, they move through choreographed, synchronized military drills with precision as they prepare for their third straight appearance at the Army JROTC National Drill Championships, set for May 1 in Daytona Beach, Florida.
They’re practicing for perfection. https://www.oregonlive.com/living/2026/04/these-oregon-high-schoolers-wake-up-at-630-am-to-perfect-military-drills-and-theyre-heading-to-nationals.html
